Tree Removal Sydney
Tree removal is sometimes needed when the tree is dead, dying or
dangerous. Once we're on site we can determine whether or not your tree should be removed if you can't already decide. Just a quick note to let you know: We consider Palm removal as apart of Tree Removal and we do remove palms.
All tree removals in the Sydney Metropolitan area is subject to council permission prior to work commencement unless; the tree is dead, under 3m in height or is on the noxious weeds list. Head over to our Council Permission page to find out more about your local councils Tree Preservation Order.
Usually with in Sydney with a tree removal, our customers want what we call "The Full Package". "The Full Package is made up of: The dismantle/felling of the tree(s), waste removal including foliage - leaves, wood and stump grinding.
The right Tree Company for you - Qualifications vs Experience
When your tree is being removed, make sure the tree company have at least a Certificate 2 in treework/arboriculture for their workers. We commonly refer to this in the tree industry as a Level 2 Arborist. The Level 2 Arborist has gone through a years worth of training and is trained in: basic tree biology, tree removals with the proper gear and technique, basic aerial rescue and senior first aid. The teachers that train these Level 2 Arborists have to uphold a level 2 standard within the tree industry and any student that is not competent will not be passed and released into the tree industry as a Level 2 Arborist.
You will read and hear many if not ALL Sydney tree companies talk about how much experience they have in the tree industry. These years for the majority of the companies out there will mean nothing. All the years of not being qualified just means that it was all hit and miss for the majority of them.
Experience: Learns bad technique, no regards for people with qualifications, no regards for OHS or Work Cover obligations and responsibilities top uphold to, over prices everything to cover these obligations. These are just to name a few.
Qualifications: Learns correct techniques and methods and deploys them, upholds to OHS and Work Cover obligations and responsibilities, has a genuine interest in trees and their biology, Firm and affordable prices. Just to name a few.
When you go with Qualifications you know what you're getting which is a minimum level 2 Arborist aswell as fair and decent price, when you go with only experience you're letting them tell you what you are more then likely going to get aswell as absurdly high prices or extremely low suspicious prices. Through out this please note that I said the majority of operators with experience, not all unqualified but experienced tree companies just the ones that give them the bad name which is sadly the majority of them.Processing the Mulch and Firewood
With the majority of our tree removals we mulch (chip) up the most of the foliage and cut the rest of the wood into firewood pieces.
